The revitalization of Durham’s downtown and neighborhoods, creation of jobs and the development of a skilled workforce, university-led development and business formation, retention, expansion and relocation are all key areas that the Office of Economic and Workforce Development is committed to fostering for all of Durham.
The City of Durham's Office of Economic and Workforce Development oversees economic development activities in targeted areas in Durham, provides support services to Durham businesses and serves as a liaison between City government and the business community for economic, business and workforce development.
