The City of Durham is soliciting offers for the above houses which are located in the Rolling Hills Subdivision, Durham, North Carolina 27707. These houses must be removed from the site and relocated to another parcel. The land does not convey. Houses are being sold AS IS, with all faults, no implied warranties, no guarantees, and no seller representation. Purchaser will be responsible for the selection of a licensed house mover and for obtaining all required permits, as well as paying all house-moving related expenses. Full payment is due at the time of signing the Bill of Sale and Agreement. Houses must be removed from site on or before ninety (90) days after the signing the Bill of Sale and Agreement unless a one-time extension of up to 30 days for just cause is granted by the real estate manager. The site must be seeded, strawed, and left clean of all debris.
Submit offers to the Real Estate Division in the General Services Department, 2011 Fay Street, Durham, NC 27704. Offers must be completed on a City of Durham Offer to Purchase Form and be accompanied by a 5 percent earnest money deposit in the form of a certified check or cashier’s check payable to City of Durham. Offers will not be awarded to persons owing delinquent City-County taxes or assessments. The City reserves the right to withdraw the property from sale at any time before acceptance of an offer or to reject all offers at any time.
