The City of Durham is seeking sealed bids for the sale of this house located in the Rolling Hills subdivision. Bid packages and instructions are available on this web page or in the Dept. of General Services. Bid packages must be received no later than 4 p.m. on Monday, March 15, 2010. Bid packages received after the deadline will be disqualified from consideration. Only hand delivered or mailed bids will be accepted. House is being sold AS IS, with all faults, no implied warranties, no guarantees, and no seller representations. Buyer will be responsible for the selection of a licensed house mover and for obtaining all required licenses and permits necessary to perform work, as well as for paying all house-moving related expenses. Houses must be removed from site on or before 90 days after the Bill of Sale is signed unless a one-time extension of up to 30 days for just cause is approved by the real estate manager. The site must be cleared of any and all improvements including removal of footers and concrete, and must be seeded, strawed, and left clean of all debris.
