This project will be funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
Contract SW-25, Project: 2010 Sidewalk Construction & Repairs was awarded to Triangle Grading and Paving, Inc. of Burlington, N.C. on November 19, 2009 with NCDOT Concurrence of Award on December 3, 2009. Contract execution was completed on December 15, 2009. The project involves the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete repair and installation of sidewalk and curb cut ramps at six locations throughout the City of Durham. For project SW-25, all contractors bidding on the project must be registered as "Pre-Qualified bidder" or "Subcontractor" with North Carolina Department of Transportation in order to be considered for contract award.
All subcontractors must be pre-qualified by NCDOT as a subcontractor.

In addition, all prime contractors must have a Dun and Bradstreet D-U-N-S Number in order for ARRA reporting to be accurate.
Each bidder must be licensed under Chapter 87 of the N.C. General Statutes as a General Contractor and holding a Highway classification. The City Council of the City of Durham reserves the right to reject any or all bids. All bids must include a non-collusion affidavit.
The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal for this project is 10 percent.
Subcontractors must be certified by NCDOT as a DBE in order for their participation to count towards the goal.

Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage Rates (Section 1606) - Prevailing wage rate requirements apply to all ARRA-funded construction projects.
