DURHAM, N.C. – Bertha Johnson, director of the City of Durham’s Department of Budget & Management Services, has been elected president of the North Carolina Local Government Budget Association (NCLGBA).
Johnson was elected to office on July 24, 2009, at the Association’s Summer Budget Summit, held at the School of Government at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Johnson will serve a one-year term with the professional organization, which promotes the budgeting profession through education, networking, and advocacy.
