Responsibilities
The Desk Unit is responsible for the 24 hour operation and staffing of the desk reception area located in the lobby of Police Headquarters. Officers assigned to this function assist citizens who walk into Police Headquarters, handle a multitude of nonemergency telephone calls, and provide varied services for police units in the field.
