Valley Springs Park ADA Improvements

Project Description

Valley Springs Park will soon be under construction. Accessibility improvements include a year-round restroom, parking spaces, seating areas with companion benches, water fountain and improvements to sidewalks. The project also includes renovations to existing men’s and women’s restrooms, demolition and abandonment of a failed septic system, restroom connection to City sewer service, and replacement landscaping.

Please be advised that the contractor has begun cleaning around the bathroom building and removing debris from the site. Construction will start in earnest on the week of November 23. Beginning the week of November 30, there will be heavy equipment operations for the sewer line which will include blasting to remove rock. Blasting operations have been permitted with the Fire Marshal and will follow all safety requirements and procedures.
