PROJECT SCHEDULE

SEPI Engineering of Raleigh, NC has been hired as the design firm to prepare plans, obtain permits, and hold informational meetings with stakeholders. They began data collection in August 2017 and currently are in the 65% design phase of the project. The first community input meeting was 03/27/2018. The second and final community input meeting was held Tuesday night December 4, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Durham County South Regional Library (left-side meeting room), located at 4505 S. Alston Ave. Residents were able to review the 65 percent design plans showing right-of-way, temporary, and permanent easements; ask questions of Public Works staff; and provided input before the department completes the final design plans. Currently the 100% plan revisions are underway by SEPI.
