Capital Facility Fees

Durham's economic health and well-being depend on an adequate water and sewer system. That's why City staff plan carefully to provide the infrastructure to support current and future customers. The City charges Capital Facility Fees to help pay for the improvements needed for a growing community and to recover the costs of using existing systems to serve new development.
