Project Description
Water Management will vacate Public Works Operation Center in Spring 2023. The project will demolish two building, relocate one, renovate five, and construct two.
The main objective of this project is the renovation of the Public Works Operation Center (PWOC). Public Works and Water Management both currently occupy the facilities at 1100 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway. Water Management will leave the PWOC campus upon completion of their new facility at Mist Lake, scheduled for 2020. This project will renovate the spaces left by Water Management, five existing buildings, and the required bio retention ponds. We will demolish the old water meter shop, construct a new vehicle wash building, a new equipment shed, new covered material storage, a new brining facility, and improve site conditions.
