Ask us about sustainability!

Many City of Durham Departments are involved with green initiatives and campaigns. In fact, sustainability is a part of the Strategic Plan adopted for the City. Goal five is centered around a sustainable natural and built environment. There are a variety of resources available for our residents to learn more about sustainability, including speakers and presentations. Schools group, local clubs, civic groups and neighborhood associations are encouraged to inquire about these resources.

Our speakers are experts in their fields who are eager to share their knowledge and department information with the community. They are an excellent resource with many stories to share and are capable of providing answers to many important questions about the City of Durham.

  • All of our resources and engagements are free to Durham County residents.
  • Please review the topics below for more detailed options for presentations.
  • Allow at least two weeks lead time for scheduling requests.
