Roots, Representation and Belonging

The Equity and Inclusion Department is excited to launch our new initiative, 'Roots, Representation and Belonging,' which recognizes and highlights heritage celebratory months throughout the year. Through this initiative, we hope to both acknowledge and celebrate the diversity in our organization and cultivate a true sense of belonging for all of our employees, no matter their differences.

Below are screensavers featured in City Week, a weekly source of news and information for the City of Durham employees. We invite you to download these screensavers and use them to represent Durham's rich and diverse history. As we continue to create spaces for all of us to learn and celebrate our unique and shared identities, cultures, and experience, we ask you to unite with our team as we uphold our initiative of Roots, Representation, and Belonging.
