The City of Durham plans to contract with several firms to provide Stormwater Professional Services for various stormwater projects. The work will include stormwater infrastructure and stormwater quality projects. The City is seeking firms whose combination of experience and expertise will provide timely, professional services.

2017 Stormwater Inventory Assessment (SD-2017-02)
The City of Durham is seeking to determine the amount and condition of stormwater infrastructure located on City-owned property, specifically within parks, on trails, and within cemeteries.

2018 Private Drainage Assistance Projects
The City of Durham is seeking assistance through professional services for the survey, design, permitting and developing of construction documents for multiple stormwater drainage assistance projects involving private property.

2019 Lodge St. Reg. Stormwater Imp. (SD-2019-10)
The City of Durham is seeking assistance through professional services for the survey, design, permitting and developing of construction documents for the Lodge Street Regional Stormwater Improvements project. The City is seeking this assistance through the Small Local Business Enterprise (SLBE) program. The Lodge Street Regional project site (see GoMaps: https://goo.gl/aMhrpx) involves replacing and/or rerouting a compromised, existing stormwater drainage pipe system located both in the City right-of-way and on private property. It is the City’s preference to relocate as much of the system as possible into the City right-of-way.

2021 EWP Stream Bank Stabilization
The project involves the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete stabilization of stream banks in four locations (stream lengths and locations listed below) within the City of Durham. The stream bank stabilizations are being performed as part of Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) and Watershed Restoration Project (WRP) grants.

The project involves the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete installation of repairs, rehabilitation, and improvements of stormwater drainage systems at various site locations throughout the City of Durham.

2021 Stormwater Infrastructure Rep. (SD-2021-05)
The project involves the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete installation of repairs, rehabilitation, and improvements of stormwater drainage systems at various site locations throughout the City of Durham.

2021 MS4 Inspections (SD-2021-06)
The project includes the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for stormwater structure (basin) inspections throughout the City of Durham as well as the complete inspection of portions of the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) for specified site locations throughout the City of Durham. Inspections of the MS4 shall include location and verification of system components, inspections to locate possible illicit discharges into the system, and general inspections of system components to document condition. It is the City’s intent that this contract shall be issued for a period of one year, and if the work proceeds successfully, the contract could be renewed annually for a total of five years.

2022 MS4 Inspections (SD-2022-03)
The project includes the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete inspections of portions of the MS4 for specified site locations throughout the City of Durham as well as the complete inspection of portions of the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) for specified site locations throughout the City of Durham. Inspections of the MS4 shall include location and verification of system components, inspections to locate possible illicit discharges into the system, and general inspections of system components to document condition. The use of an easement machine is inclusive of the MS4 inspection. It is the City’s intent that this contract shall be issued for a period of two years.

The project involves the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete installation of repairs, rehabilitation, and improvements of stormwater drainage systems at various site locations throughout the City of Durham.

2023 Trenchless Pipe Repairs (SD-2023-03)
The project includes the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete installation of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining of existing storm drainage pipes throughout the City of Durham.
