Public hearings will be held to discuss the following: FY 2021-2022 Annual Action Plan “Needs” Public Hearing (PR #14459).
The Durham City Council will hold virtual public hearings on March 1, 2021, at 7 p.m. to hear the following requests:
FY 2021-2022 Annual Action Plan “Needs” Public Hearing (PR #14459)
What are the needs in your neighborhood and how should we spend federal funds to help? Share your thoughts with the Durham City Council at our Annual Action Plan “Needs” Public Hearing.
- Description: The Citizen Participation Plan contained in the adopted 2020-2025 Consolidated Plan requires that at least two (2) public hearings be held prior to the submission of the Annual Action Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The purpose of this 2nd public hearing is to receive citizen comments on how Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) and Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) funds can be used address housing and community development needs in Durham.
