Public Hearing Notice: Durham City-County Planning Commission - March 9, 2021 at 5:30 p.m.

Public hearings will be held to discuss the following: Text Amendments - TC21000001- Omnibus Changes 16; Zoning Map Changes - Parcel K (Z1800034), Rollingdale II (Z2000024), Casa North Duke (Z2000039).

The Durham City-County Planning Commission will hold virtual public hearings on March 9, 2021, at 5:30 p.m. to hear the following requests:

Text Amendments

  • TC21000001- Omnibus Changes 16: Amendments to various provisions of the Unified Development Ordinance for technical or clarifying changes, or other minor policy changes not technical in nature.

Zoning Map Changes

  • Parcel K (Z1800034) is a request to change the zoning located at 2705 and 2725 East US 70 Highway, and 4709 and 4793 Leesville Road from Rural Residential (RR), Industrial (I), Industrial Park (IP) to Planned Development Residential 5.949 (PDR 5.949) and a proposed change of the Future Land Use Map designation from Low Density Residential, Low Medium Density Residential, and Commercial to Low-Medium Density Residential.
  • Rollingdale II (Z2000024) is a request to change the zoning located at 602 and 606 West NC 54 Highway from Planned Development Residential 3.940 (PDR 3.940) to Planned Development Residential 5.189 (PDR 5.189) and a proposed change of the Future Land Use Map designation from Low Density Residential to Low-Medium Density Residential.
  • Casa North Duke (Z2000039) is a request to change the zoning located at 2717, 2712, and 2702 North Duke Street, and 1856 Birmingham Avenue from residential Urban-5 (RU-5) and Office Institutional with a development plan (OI(D)) to Planned Development Residential 8.000 (PDR 8.000) and a proposed change of the Future Land Use Map designation from Office to Medium-High Density Residential (8-20 DU/acre).
