Public hearings will be held to discuss the following: B2100031 – County, B2100047 – City, B2100048 – County, B2100049 – City, and B2100050 – City.
The Durham Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing to discuss the following:
- B2100031 – County: A request for a variance from the balloon test requirement for a wireless communication facility. The subject site is located at 5193 International Drive, is zoned Industrial Light (IL) & Falls of the Neuse / Jordan Lake Critical Area (F/J-A), and is in the Suburban development tier.
- B2100047 – City: A request for a variance from the street yard setback requirements. The subject site is located at 2100 Summit Avenue, is zoned Residential Suburban - 10 (RS-10), and is in the Urban development tier.
- B2100048 – County: A request for a minor special use permit for an addition of more than 10% of the square footage to a non-conforming structure. The subject site is located at 7428 Abron Drive, is zoned Residential Rural (RR), is in the Falls of the Neuse / Jordan Lake Protected Area (F/J-B), and is in the Suburban development tier.
- B2100049 – City: A request for a variance from the project boundary buffer requirements. The subject site is located at 808 W. Trinity Avenue, is zoned Office & Institutional (D) [OI(D)), and is in the Urban development tier.
- B2100050 – City: A request for a variance from the side yard setback requirements. The subject site is located at 3918 Booker Avenue, is zoned Residential Suburban - 20 (RS-20), and is in the Suburban development Tier.
Public Participation
The Chair will recognize all persons wishing to speak and will allocate time to individual speakers based upon the number of persons to be heard. All persons wishing to speak will be required to consent to the virtual format of the meeting and to swear or affirm their testimony. Substantial changes to the proposed action may be made following the public hearing.
