The Human Relations Division of the City's Neighborhood Improvement Services Department is proud to present the 19th annual Women's Forum to celebrate National Women's History Month. This year's theme is: Providing Hope. Promoting Healing. Breaking The Bias.

Fast Facts:

  • This free virtual forum, held annually in honor of National Women’s History Month, is open to the public. Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL) interpretations will be provided during this event.

  • Panelists include Deputy City Manager Bertha Johnson, Durham Police Department Chief Patrice Andrews, Attorney Anabel Franceschini Rosa with the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, and Pearsontown Elementary School Principal Asia Cunningham.  

  • In addition to being held on Zoom, the forum will also livestreamed from the department’s Durham Community Engagement Facebook page, and will be made available for on-demand viewing after the forum on the City’s YouTube channel.

La División de Relaciones Humanas del Departamento de Servicios de Mejoramiento de Vecindarios de la Ciudad se enorgullece en presentar el 19º Foro Anual de la Mujer para celebrar el Mes Nacional de la Historia de la Mujer. Nuestro tema es "Proporcionar esperanza, promover la sanación, romper el prejuicio".
