Public hearings will be held to discuss the following: Geer and Junction (Z2100026); Mineral Springs Road (aka Mica Ridge) (Z2100028); 4150 Old Chapel Hill Road (Z2100046); Durham Elementary School F (Z2200016); Stella View (Z2100008); 5202 Leesville (Z2100018)

Zoning Map Changes

  • Geer and Junction (Z2100026) is a request to change the zoning from Residential Rural (RR) to Planned Development Residential 19.520 (PDR 19.520) located at 2240 and 2300 East Geer Street. 

  • Mineral Springs Road (aka Mica Ridge) (Z2100028) is a request to change the zoning from Residential Suburban – 20 (RS-20) and Commercial General (CG) to Planned Development Residential - 4.68 (PDR – 4.68). A future land use map amendment from Low-Medium Density Residential, Medium Density Residential, and Commercial to Low-Medium Density Residential is associated with the request located at 1251, 1305, 1367, 1417, 1421, South Miami Boulevard, 1314, 1516, 1602, 1652, 1802 South Mineral Springs Road, 212 Yates Road, 102, 112, 126, 154, 234, 302 Beall Street. 

  • 4150 Old Chapel Hill Road (Z2100046) is a request to change the zoning from Commercial Neighborhood (CN) and Residential Suburban – 20 (RS-20) to Commercial General with a Text-Only Development Plan (CG(D)) located at 4150, 4148, 4142, and 4138 Old Chapel Hill Road. 

  • Durham Elementary School F (Z2200016) is a request to change the zoning from Planned Development Residential 3.440 (PDR 3.440) and Planned Development Residential 6.800 (PDR 6.800) to Office and Institutional with a Development Plan (OI(D)) located at 3901 South Roxboro Street. 

  • Stella View (Z2100008) (continued from June 23, 2022) is a request to change the zoning from Residential Rural (RR) and Residential Suburban-20 (RS-20), Falls/Jordan Watershed Protection District-B (F/J-B) to Planned Development Residential 4.484 (PDR 4.484), Falls/Jordan Watershed Protection District-B, located at 1031, 1011, and 1001 Sherron Road.

  • 5202 Leesville (Z2100018) (continued from June 23, 2022) is a request to change the zoning from Residential Rural (RR) to Planned Development Residential 5.441 (PDR 5.441). A Future Land Use Map Change from Low Density Residential to Low-Medium Density Residential is associated with this request located at 5202 and 5214 Leesville Road.
