The Durham Police Department (DPD) is dedicated to hiring and training officers who represent the best that the law enforcement profession has to offer. The next Police Hiring Event is March 23 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at DPD headquarters, located at 602 E. Main St.
Police Hiring Events are held two times per month as a hybrid online/in-person event. Participants will meet with recruiters to ask questions and learn more about the hiring process, benefits/salary and training requirements. Future applicants will gain a full understanding of the hiring process and requirements to become a police officer.
In-person attendees should meet at headquarters in the lobby by 5:45 p.m. The Police Hiring Event will take place in the Recruiting Classroom.
