Durham police investigators are asking for information about an aggravated assault that happened early Sunday in the parking lot of the Shell convenience store in the 1000 block of West Main Street.
The incident was reported around 12:30 a.m. on September 24 when a male with a bicycle appeared to get into an argument with another male. The male with the bicycle, 57-year-old Rafael Gallegos-Montanez, was taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Investigators are also trying to identify the second male involved in the disturbance.
