Durham Police Investigate Hit-and-Run Crash on Garrett Road
Durham police are investigating a hit-and-run crash involving a bicyclist that happened late Wednesday on Garrett Road.
Officers were dispatched to the crash shortly before 11 p.m. in the 5300 block of Garrett Road. A small dark sedan hit the bicyclist and sped away from the scene, according to investigators. The bicyclist – a 67-year-old Durham man – was taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
