DURHAM, N.C. – The Durham Police Department (DPD) Records Unit at the 505 W. Chapel Hill Street location will be closed to the public on Tuesday, Oct. 30 and Wednesday, Oct. 31 and reopening at 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 1 at the new DPD headquarters facility, 602 East Main Street.
Beginning Nov. 1, residents will need to visit the new location at 602 East Main Street for all police matters. Only people with appointments will be admitted into the old headquarters building, as DPD units will be moving into the new facility in phases.
