Two Arrests Made in Saturday Night Attempted Armed Robbery
DURHAM, N.C. – Durham Police Department (DPD) investigators have arrested Ledarius Samuel, 20, and Antoine Page, 17, in connection with an attempted armed robbery that happened shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday night, December 15, in the 2800 block of Chapel Hill Road.
DPD officers were dispatched to a call in reference to multiple people being shot at a birthday party. Officers located three shooting victims with non-life-threatening injuries once they arrived at the scene. One of the suspects was detained by individuals at the party, while a second suspect was driven to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Samuel was charged with robbery with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm by a felon. He was placed in the Durham County jail under a $1.5 million bond. Page was charged with robbery with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a deadly weapon. He was placed in the Durham County jail under a $1 million bond.
