Application Deadline is May 3
DURHAM, N.C. – The Durham Police Department (DPD) is accepting applications for its 2019 summer camps for youth ages nine to 13. Campers will take daily field trips, and engage in recreational, educational and social activities with police officers and other campers. Hosted by school resource officers of the department’s Community Services Division, the camps aim to add structured youth activities to the summer months and to strengthen law enforcement's relationship with participating youth and their families.
Applicants can choose from three week-long camp sessions:
Camp 1: June 17 to June 21;
Camp 2: July 15 to July 19; or
Camp 3: August 12 to August 16.
