Stabbing at The Streets at Southpoint
DURHAM, N.C. - Durham police are investigating a stabbing that occurred at The Streets at Southpoint shortly after 4:30 p.m. today. A loss prevention officer sustained serious injuries during a confrontation with two females who had allegedly been shoplifting.
The female suspects fled the scene in a four-door sedan.
The investigation is ongoing.

UPDATE: Investigators have charged Natoyia Barbee, 35, of Durham with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury in connection with this case. Barbee is not in custody at this time.
