UPDATE: Investigators have taken out warrants charging 27-year-old Jose Luis Baltazar in this case. Baltazar is not in custody at this time.
Investigators have charged Baltazar with felony hit-and-run involving serious injury or death and driving while his license was revoked for a DWI revocation.
The victim remains hospitalized at this time.

UPDATE: The victim in the hit-and-run has been identified as Jessica Bridger, 28, of Durham.

DURHAM, N.C. – Shortly after 1 a.m. today a bicyclist was struck in the 800 block of West Club Boulevard near Duke Street by a vehicle that fled the scene.
The victim, a 28-year-old female, was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. She is currently listed in critical but stable condition.
The vehicle was traveling west on West Club Boulevard at the time of the collision. The suspect vehicle should have left front damage and possibly damage to the windshield.
