FAST FACTS
- This is the first time in history Durham will host the 2019 USTA NC 40 & Over State Championship Games. The tournament was last held in Winston Salem.
- In May 2018, Durham submitted the two-year bid and won.
- This event received funding support from the Durham Sports Commission.
- Over 1,200 players from across the state will meet their match at 14 different sites to include parks, schools, and private facilities.
- To advance to the championship games, participants must have competed in their local area games and must be a current USTA member.
