Durham Police Investigating Shootings
Durham police are investigating two reports of men being shot tonight and they believe the two cases may be related.
Officers were dispatched to a shooting call on University Drive near Hill Street around 8 p.m. When they arrived, they found a man inside a vehicle who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of critical injuries.
A short time later, a second man who had suffered a gunshot wound was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle. He is being treated for serious injuries.
Investigators believe the two shootings may be related and may have occurred in the area of South and Enterprise streets. No charges have been filed at this time and both cases remain under investigation.
