The City of Durham, Community Development Department is soliciting a total of four Request for Proposals for services that support the implementation of the City of Durham Lead and Healthy Homes Program.  Services included in the Request for Proposals (RFP) are:  Application Intake and Eligibility Screening, Marketing and Outreach, Training Services, and Temporary Relocation Services.  Funding for the Request for Proposals is provided by a $3,258,478 Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes Grant received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the City of Durham General Funds. On Monday, June 29, 2020, the Community Development Department will release the Lead and Healthy Homes Program Request for Proposals via the City of Durham, Community Development Department website.  All projects and funding amounts for this opportunity are subject to a competitive award process.  Proposals must be received electronically by 3 PM on Friday, July 31, 2020.  Proposals received after the deadline date and time will be deemed ineligible.  

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, workshops will be held virtually.  Advance registration is required to attend the workshops. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to attend one or more of the following virtual pre-proposal workshops by clicking on the highlighted RSVP choices:

1.  Application Intake and Eligibility Screening Services RSVP, Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at 10 AM. (Register no later than 4 PM on Tuesday, July 7, 2020). Questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted in writing by clicking here.      
2.  Marketing and Outreach Services RSVP, Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at 2 PM. (Register no later than 4 PM on Tuesday, July 7, 2020). Questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted in writing by clicking here.                                    
3.  Training Services RSVP, Thursday, July 9, 2020, at 10 AM.  (Register no later than 4 PM on Wednesday, July 8, 2020).  Questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted here.                                                         
4.  Temporary Relocation Services RSVP, Thursday, July 9, 2020, at 2 PM.   (Register no later than 4 PM on Wednesday, July 8, 2020).  Questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted here.
