Upcoming applicant testing, conducted by the Recruiting Unit, will be held July 14, 15 and 16 (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) at 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. daily. Walk-ins are not permitted. Interested applicants should contact the following DPD Recruiters immediately to find out next steps to apply:

Social Distancing Measures. In March of this year the Recruiting Unit amended its applicant interview and testing processes to be in accordance with the City’s stay-at-home-order and social distancing guidelines due to COVID-19. Although open houses and in-person interview activities were suspended, applications were continually accepted.
The Recruiting Unit has implemented a number of safeguards as part of the applicant testing process which includes written and physical assessments. These precautionary measures include instructing applicants to wait in their cars until their designated appointment time and to wear masks; screening applicants for temperatures; and staggering small-group testing times.
