In recognition of the unprecedented operating challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the City of Durham, Community Development Department is making funds available for emergency operating assistance for nonprofit developers active in the City of Durham. Funding for the RFPs consists of City of Durham Dedicated Housing funds in the amount of $300,000 and HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) CHDO funds in the amount of $108,250. In order to be eligible to apply for this funding, organizations must have received funding from the Community Development Department for the development or preservation of legally-restricted affordable housing units after January 1, 2017.
The City of Durham, Community Development Department (CDD) is soliciting proposals from nonprofit affordable housing developers for operating support under two separate Requests for Proposals (RFPs) based on the available funding.
