REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) Minor Repair Program and Application Intake for Substantial and HOME Consortium Rehabilitation Programs
Pre-Proposal Workshop: September 21, 2020
Proposals Due: November 20, 2020 at 3 PM
The City of Durham Community Development Department is soliciting proposals from organizations interested in providing the following services:
- Minor Repair services for low-income elderly and disabled homeowners in the City of Durham, including application intake and determining income eligibility; and
- Application Intake and determining income eligibility for the City and County of Durham Substantial Rehabilitation Program on an as needed basis.
The City anticipates making two-year awards totaling approximately $700,000, for the Minor Repair Activity. The allocated funding source for these services will be the City’s Dedicated Housing Fund.
On Wednesday, September 9, 2020, the Community Development Department released the Minor Repair Program and Application Intake for the Substantial Rehabilitation and HOME Consortium Rehabilitation Program Request for Proposals via the department’s ZoomGrants software application platform. On October 9, 2020, Addendum1 (PDF) was released followed by Addendum 2 (PDF) released on October 20, 2020.
All projects and funding amounts for this opportunity are subject to a competitive award process. Proposals must be received electronically by 3 PM on Friday, November 20, 2020. Proposals received after the deadline date and time will be deemed ineligible.
Interested parties were strongly encouraged to attend the virtual Pre-Proposal Workshop on Wednesday, September 21, 2020, at 10 AM to receive additional information pertaining to the Request for Proposal. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the workshop was held virtually. Interested parties registered in advance to attend the workshop.
