REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) LEAD and HEALTHY HOMES PROGRAM 

Pre-Proposal Workshop: Wednesday, September 30, 2020 

Proposals Due: Friday, October 30, 2020 at 3:00 pm 

The City of Durham, Community Development Department is soliciting Request for Proposals for Lead Inspection, Risk Assessment (LIRA) and Clearance Services that support the implementation of the City of Durham Lead and Healthy Homes Program. Funding for this RFP is provided by a $3,258,470 Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes Grant received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the City of Durham General Funds.

On Friday, September 18, 2020, the Community Development Department released the Lead and Healthy Homes Program, Lead Inspection Risk Assessment and Clearance Services Request for Proposals (PDF). All projects and funding amounts for this opportunity are subject to a competitive award process. Proposals must be received electronically by 3:00 pm on Friday, October 30, 2020. Proposals received after the deadline date and time will be deemed ineligible.

Interested parties were strongly encouraged to attend the Pre-Proposal RFP Lead Inspection, Risk Assessment (LIRA) and Clearance Services Workshop (PDF) to receive additional information on Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at 2 PM. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, advance registration was required, and interested parties  registered by 4 PM on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 (https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_XGHODSMuQbSJda-1HzfViw ).
