Construction is scheduled to begin on Monday! Here's the rundown of what to expect throughout the first two weeks of this project. We appreciate your ongoing patience with the work along these busy corridors.
Planned Road / Lane Closures will occur as follows:
- Week of 10/5:
- Northbound lane closure of Willard Street between Julian Carr Street and Yancey Street.
- Week of 10/12:
- Northbound lane closure of Willard Street between Julian Carr Street and Jackson Street.
Week of October 5, 2020:
- Willard Street between Julian Carr St and Yancey St will have a northbound lane closure to accommodate waterline installation.
- Traffic control signs and markings will be used for the Willard Street northbound detour.
- Flaggers will be utilized for traffic control while work is taking place in the intersection of Willard and Julian Carr streets.
- Sidewalk traffic will be disrupted.
- Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
- Planned work hours are 7 AM to 7 PM.
- No water or sewer service disruptions are anticipated.
Saturday – Sunday October 10-11, 2020:
- No work will take place on Saturday or Sunday.
Week of October 12, 2020:
- Willard Street between Julian Carr St and Jackson St will have a northbound lane closure to accommodate waterline installation.
