Thank you again for your interest in the American Tobacco District Waterline Replacement Project. Here's what you can expect from construction in the first weeks of November. Please note, the northbound lane closure of Willard Street currently in place will be extended to Jackson Street during the coming two weeks. Planned Road / Lane Closures will occur as follows:

• Week of 11/2: 
  • Northbound lane closure of Willard Street between Julian Carr Street and Jackson Street.  
• Week of 11/9: 
  • Northbound lane closure of Willard Street between Julian Carr Street and Jackson Street.  

 Week of November 2, 2020:

• Willard Street between Julian Carr St and Jackson St will have a northbound lane closure to accommodate waterline installation.
  • Traffic control signs and markings will be used for the Willard Street northbound detour. 
  • Lane shifts with flaggers will be utilized for traffic control while work is taking place in intersections and at waterline connection locations.
  • Sidewalk traffic will be disrupted.
  • Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
  • Planned work hours are 7 AM to 7 PM.
  • No water or sewer service disruptions are anticipated.

Saturday – Sunday November 7-8, 2020:

• No work will take place on Saturday or Sunday.

 Week of November 9, 2020:

• Willard Street between Julian Carr St and Jackson St will have a northbound lane closure to accommodate waterline installation.
  • Traffic control signs and markings will be used for the Willard Street northbound detour. 
  • Lane shifts with flaggers will be utilized for traffic control while work is taking place in intersections and at waterline connection locations.
