Durham police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened this morning on East Main Street.
Officers responded to a shooting call in the 900 block of East Main Street at 10:19 a.m. When they arrived, they found a male teen who had been shot several times. The victim was transported to the hospital, where he later died.
The shots were apparently fired from a passing vehicle, according to investigators.
This is an active investigation and no further details are available at this time.
