Note: Durham Bulls opening day is May 11th – we have been coordinating with the Bulls, and plan to have access to the DBAP/parking decks available for home games. Willard Street and Jackson St east of Willard will be open for access during baseball games.
Planned Road / Lane Closures will occur as follows:
- Week of 5/3:
- Full closure of Willard Street between Julian Carr and Jackson Street.
- Eastbound lane closure of Jackson Street east of Willard Street.
- Full closure of Jackson Street between Duke Street and Willard Street.
- Week of 5/10:
- Eastbound lane closure of Jackson Street east of Willard Street.
- Full closure of Jackson Street between Duke Street and Willard Street.
- Lane closure in Duke Street between Yancey Street and Chapel Hill Street.
Saturday – Sunday May 1-2, 2021:
- No work will take place on Saturday or Sunday.
Week of May 3, 2021:
- Willard Street between Julian Carr and Jackson Street will have a road closure to accommodate transmission main installation.
- Traffic control signs and markings will be used for the Willard Street detour.
- Access to the ATC South Deck via Willard Street will remain open.
- Sidewalk traffic will be disrupted.
- Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
- Planned work hours are 7 AM to 7 PM.
- No water or sewer service disruptions are anticipated.
- Jackson Street east of Willard Street will have an eastbound lane closure to accommodate waterline installation.
- Traffic control signs and markings will be used for the Jackson Street detour.
- Access to the ATC North Deck via Willard / Julian Carr will be open during lane closure.
- Sidewalk traffic will be disrupted.
- Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
- Planned work hours are 7 AM to 7 PM.
- No water or sewer service disruptions are anticipated.
- Jackson Street between Duke Street and Willard Street will have a full closure to accommodate transmission main installation.

- Sidewalk traffic will be disrupted.
- Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.

- Sidewalk traffic will be disrupted.
- Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
- Planned work hours are 7 AM to 7 PM.
- No water or sewer service disruptions are anticipated.
- Jackson Street between Duke Street and Willard Street will have a full closure to accommodate transmission main installation.
- Traffic control signs and markings will be used for the Jackson Street detour.

- Duke Street between Yancey Street and Chapel Hill Street will have a lane closure to accommodate waterline installation.
- Traffic control signs and markings will be used for the lane closure.
- Lane shifts with flaggers will be utilized for traffic control while work is taking place in intersections and at waterline connection locations.
- Sidewalk traffic will be disrupted.
- Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
- Planned work hours are 7 AM to 7 PM.
- No water or sewer service disruptions are anticipated.
Saturday – Sunday May 15-16, 2021:
- No work will take place on Saturday or Sunday.
