  • Expanded outdoor seating will continue at restaurants, bars, and private clubs throughout Durham. Find out how the permanent version of this program will work. 
  • A new Carbon Neutrality and Renewable Energy Action Plan will now guide us in creating a healthier environment.
  • A major road paving project will soon be underway for unpaved roads throughout the city. Find out what work is included in the project as well as where it will be happening.
  • We now have the results of the second phase of public input that will shape the recommendations included in the Durham Transit Plan. We’ll give a high-level view of what those results are and what comes next for the plan.
  • Approximately 225 miles of sewer mains throughout the city will be cleaned and inspected in our Sewer Outfall Inspection Program.
