REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Non-Congregate Shelter, Rapid Rehousing and Landlord Engagement
Pre-Proposal Workshop: April 27, 2022 at 9:00 A.M. 
Proposals Due: May 9, 2022 at 11:59 P.M. 

The City of Durham, Community Development Department is soliciting proposals for projects that support Non-Congregate Emergency Shelter for persons experiencing homelessness.  In addition, this Request for Proposals (RFP) makes available funding for Rapid Rehousing of persons experiencing homelessness, as well as Landlord Engagement programs designed to increase the number of landlords willing to house persons exiting homelessness.

On Monday, April 25, 2022, the Community Development Department plans to release the Request for Proposals and solicit applications via ZoomGrants™, the department’s online application management system. The expected amount of funding to be available is approximately $1,600,000 and will be funded with City funds.  

All applications must be submitted via ZoomGrants™ no later than 11:59 P.M. on Monday, May 9, 2022.  Applications received after the deadline date and time will not be accepted and will be deemed ineligible.

Interested parties are strongly encouraged to attend a virtual Application Workshop on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at 9:00 A.M.  To virtually attend the Application Workshop, all organizations must register to attend via the following link:  https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZAkf-6oqTMrH9btgalkVGVttYIkuTph1yqI.
