American Tobacco District Waterline Replacement – Phase 1 Project Update and Two-Week Look Ahead

Planned Road / Lane Closures will occur as follows:
- Week of 7/25:
- Road closure of Pettigrew Street west of Gregson Street.
- Varying temporary lane shifts in project area.
- Week of 8/1:
- Varying temporary lane shifts in project area.
Bicycle Lane and Sidewalk impacts will occur as follows:
- Portions of the sidewalk on the west side of Gregson Street between Peabody and Pettigrew streets will have temporary closures to accommodate sidewalk replacements.
Saturday – Sunday July 23-24, 2022:
- No work is planned on Saturday or Sunday.
Week of July 25, 2022:
- Pettigrew Street west of Gregson Street will be closed to accommodate roadway repairs.
- Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
- Planned work hours are 7 AM to 7 PM.
- No water or sewer service disruptions are anticipated.
- Varying temporary lane shifts throughout the project area will be implemented to accommodate final road, sidewalk, and curb repairs.
- Traffic control signs and markings will be used for temporary lane closures and shifts.
- Lane shifts with flaggers will be utilized for traffic control while work is taking place in intersections.
- Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
- Planned work hours are 7 AM to 7 PM.
- No water or sewer service disruptions are anticipated.

- No work is planned on Saturday or Sunday.
Week of August 1, 2022:
- Varying temporary lane shifts throughout the project area will be implemented to accommodate final road, sidewalk, and curb repairs.
