Funding from our Forever Home, Durham program will help support the development of another affordable housing project on Old Oxford Road. This project – called Sandy Ridge Station – will be a 132-unit development located at 835 to 903 Old Oxford Road. One, two and three-bedroom units will be available. The proposed site is made up of two parcels totaling approximately 6.73 acres. All of the units will be affordable to residents whose household income is 70 percent or less of Durham County’s Area Median Income. Twenty-one percent of the units will be affordable to households with incomes at 30 percent of the Area Median Income. Forever Home, Durham will provide approximately $5 million in gap financing for the development. The project was one of four selected to receive Forever Home, Durham funds.
