Notice of Public Hearing
Draft HOME-American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) Allocation Plan
March 20, 2023 - 7:00 P.M.

A Public Hearing will be held by the Durham City Council to receive citizens’ comments on the Draft HOME-American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) Allocation Plan.  The City is proposing to use $4,346,151 to develop new affordable housing units to be prioritized for households exiting homelessness.  

The Public Hearing is scheduled on Monday, March 20, 2023, at 7:00 P.M. during the Durham City Council Meeting.  Durham stakeholders interested in providing public comments on the Draft HOME-ARP Allocation Plan should follow the City of Durham’s Public Comment Instructions. Instructions can be found on the City of Durham website located at the following link: https://durhamnc.gov/3012/Public-Hearings.  Written comments concerning the Draft HOME-ARP Allocation Plan may be sent to the following link:  Draft HOME-ARP Allocation Plan Comments. 

The Draft HOME-ARP Allocation Plan will be available for public review from February 23, 2023 - March 25, 2023, on the City of Durham website located at the following link: Draft HOME-American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) Allocation Plan (PDF) and at the City of Durham, Community Development Department located at 516 Rigsbee Avenue, Durham, NC.
