City Celebrates National Drinking Water Week May 7-13
Water Management announces Water Conservation Poster Contest Winners
DURHAM, N.C. — National Drinking Water Week runs Sunday, May 7, through Saturday, May 13. Drinking Water Week is a time to celebrate Water Management staff who produce, manage, and maintain the City’s water resources to help make Durham a more sustainable community.
National Drinking Water Week is an annual recognition of municipal water providers and water professionals to remind the public of the vital role that clean, safe drinking water plays in our daily lives. Durham’s Department of Water Management designs, creates, and maintains the infrastructure and treatment processes so the system works in harmony to ensure safe tap water is ‘There When You Need It.’
