Lakewood Avenue Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project Construction Look Ahead

Planned Road / Lane Closures will occur as follows:
- Week of 7/10:
- Lane closures and shifts along University Drive / Lakewood Avenue near the Duke Street intersection.
- Week of 7/17:
- Lane closures and shifts along University Drive / Lakewood Avenue near the Duke Street intersection.
- Future Week(s):
- Lane closures and shifts along University Drive / Lakewood Avenue near the Duke Street intersection.
Bicycle Lane and Sidewalk impacts will occur as follows:
- Portions of the sidewalk along University Drive near the Duke Street intersection will have temporary closures.
Saturday – Sunday July 8-9, 2023:
- No work is planned on Saturday or Sunday.
Week of July 10, 2023:
- Lane closures and shifts in University Drive / Lakewood Avenue near the Duke Street intersection will be in place to accommodate sanitary sewer installation.
- Traffic control signs and markings will be used for the lane closures and shifts.
- Flaggers will be used in University Drive between the hours of 9 AM and 4 PM to maintain traffic in both directions.
- Temporary pavement markings will be installed to shift traffic lanes along University Drive.
- Sidewalk traffic will be disrupted in this area.
- Sanitary sewer installations will and continue north along University Drive.
- Temporary Forest Hills Shopping Center driveway and parking closures will be required, however access to all businesses will remain accessible.
- Noise levels in excess of the current City noise ordinance are anticipated during work hours.
- Planned work hours are 7 AM to 7 PM.
- No water or sewer service disruptions are anticipated.

- No work is planned on Saturday or Sunday.
Week of July 17, 2023:
- Lane closures and shifts in University Drive / Lakewood Avenue near the Duke Street intersection will be in place to accommodate sanitary sewer installation.
