City-Owned Vacant Lots
Pre-Submittal Meeting: October 11, 2023, 2:00 P.M. EST
Proposals Due: November 29, 2023, 4:00 P.M. EST
The City of Durham is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified non-profit organizations to develop affordable for-sale units on City-owned vacant lots. These for-sale units will have a requirement to serve households at or below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI) and must remain affordable for a minimum of 20 years.
On Friday, September 29, 2023, the City of Durham will release the City-Owned Vacant Lots Request for Proposals (RFP) for all interested parties. All Proposals must be mailed and received by the deadline date and time of Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 4:00 P.M. EST. Faxed, emailed, hand-delivered or oral submissions of Proposals will not be accepted. Proposals received after the deadline date and time will be deemed ineligible.
Interested parties are strongly encouraged to attend a Pre-Proposal Meeting on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. EST, which will be held virtually. All questions concerning the RFP must be sent and received no later than Wednesday October 25, 2023, by 4:00 P.M. EST via the following link:
