Masks Required to Enter City Facilities Effective August 2Based on the latest guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), all visitors and employees must wear a mask inside City facilities regardless of their vaccination status. Signs will be placed at the entrance to City facilities and disposable face coverings will be available at entrances as well as hand sanitizer. While the City has returned to normal operating hours, individuals are still encouraged to access services online when possible.

Development Services Center Open

The Development Services Center lobby is open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. All-digital and paper-free processes will continue, including pre-submittal meetings and application submittal and payment. Paper applications, thumb drives, and checks will not be accepted in person or via mail. Kiosks will be available in the DSC lobby for walk-in customers wishing to use a City computer to access digital development services, and staff will be available to assist with questions.

Durham County Board of County CommissionersThe Durham Board of County Commissioners will hold virtual public hearings on August 23, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. to hear the following requests: Zoning Map Change - Old Bahama Fire Station (Z2000046) Two parcels located at 1426 Bahama Road, is a request to change the zoning from Commercial Neighborhood (CN) and Residential Suburban-20 (RS-20) to Commercial Neighborhood with a text-only development plan (CN(D)).
