Most City offices, including City Hall and all non-emergency operations, will be closed on Friday, December 24, 2021, and Monday, December 27, 2021, in observance of the Christmas holiday. City Hall will also be closed on Friday, December 31, 2021, in observance of New Year's Day.

A new public hearing will be held at a later date with new notifications sent and published. A request for voluntary non-contiguous annexation of three parcels of land totaling 82.84 acres located at 2308 East Geer Street, 2315 Ferrell Road, and 2402 Carpenter Road.
- NC55 and Hopson (BDG2100005) is a request for voluntary annexation of 10 parcels of land totaling 254.124 acres located at the 6000 block of South Alston Avenue and NC Highway 55.

Durham County Board of County Commissioners The Board of County Commissioners will hold a virtual meeting on January 10, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. No items will be presented by City-County Planning
Residents wishing to comment on the items sign up by emailing the Durham County Clerk to the Board at [email protected] no later than 2:00 p.m. the day of the meeting. The call-in information for the meeting will be shared to those individuals after they have emailed the Clerk. The virtual option aligns with social distancing requirements which ensures the safety of citizens who wish to participate as well as Board members and Durham County Government staff. Citizens who wish to view the BOCC meeting can watch live on the County website or via YouTube at www.youtube.com/DCoWebmaster.
