Durham’s New Comprehensive Plan UpdateDurham is working on a new Comprehensive Plan, a long-range vision for our community! The Comprehensive Plan decides what can be built where in Durham. Engagement has started! We want to hear from you! Engagement on the policy recommendations that will be part of the new Comprehensive Plan has begun. To make the Community Goals and Objectives of the Comprehensive Plan a reality in Durham, we have drafted policy recommendations on how to achieve them. These policies have been drafted by teams of staff and community members, including youth, over the last several months. The Board of County Commissioners will hold a meeting on May 23, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., 2nd floor, Commissioners' Meeting Room, Durham County Administration I, 200 E. Main Street to hear the following requests:
