Plan Amendment
- Forest Hills (A1800004): A request to change the future land use designation for the area bounded by Kent Street and Shoreham Street to the west; Stuart Drive, Summit Street, and South Roxboro Street to the south; American Tobacco Trail to the east; and East Forest Hills Plaza, Wells Street, and Bivins Street to the north, from Medium Density Residential (MDR, 6–12 DU/acre) to Low–Medium Density Residential (LMDR, 4–8 DU/acre or less) and Low Density Residential (LDR, 4 DU/acre or less). If zoned RS-20 or RS-10, change MDR to LDR; if zoned RS-8, RS-M, RU-5, or RU-5(2), change MDR to LMDR. (No change from Recreation Open Space (ROS)). In addition, change the development tier from Urban to Suburban.
Zoning Map Changes - 1001 Olive Branch Road (Z1800015): A request to change the zoning from Residential Rural (RR), Falls/Jordan Watershed Protection Overlay District-B (F/J-B), County Jurisdiction to Planned Development Residential 2.944 (PRD 2.944), Falls/Jordan Watershed Protection Overlay District-B (F/J-B), City Jurisdiction.
- 1612 Carpenter Fletcher Road (Z1900017): A request to change the zoning from Office Institutional (OI) to Commercial General with a Text-Only Development Plan (CG(D)).

- Case B1900030 - City: A request for a variance from the required 15-foot maximum street yard, the longest building façade not located within the maximum street yard, and the building occupying less than 60% of the total street frontage. The subject site is located at 3921 S. Miami Boulevard, is zoned Light Industrial (IL), and in the Research Triangle Park North Compact Neighborhood (CN).
- Case B1900040 - County: A request for a variance from the street yard setback requirements for a proposed single-family detached house. The subject site is located at 345 Continental Drive, is zoned Rural Residential (RR), within the Eno River Protected Area (E-B), and in the Suburban Tier.

Based on the City’s Equitable Community Engagement Blueprint, ENGAGEDurham is a pilot initiative to coordinate engagement efforts between City/County Planning, City Transportation, City Neighborhood Improvement Services, and City General Services Departments. This pilot will be a multi-year engagement process to influence outcomes for a variety of projects, including our new Comprehensive Plan, new County Transit Plan, the Belt Line trail, the Move Durham study, the Third Fork Creek Trail extension, and the R.
