Will my business/property be impacted during the Construction phase of the project?
Construction will generally be performed Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. The city will take measures to keep roads open throughout construction. Construction will occur on private properties, and property owners have been notified. Property owners will be notified again as construction nears their property. There will be pedestrian, traffic, and noise impacts throughout each of the work areas during construction.

The city’s contractors are required to maintain access to residences and businesses at all times, though pedestrian access may be directed around work areas for safety. Sound levels near active work areas are anticipated to range between 70 and 90 decibels. Disturbed areas along roadways and sidewalks will be repaved, and lawns will be graded and reseeded at the end of the project.
