Public Hearing Notice: Durham City Council - March 15, 2021 at 7 p.m.

Public hearings will be held to discuss the following: Annexations - Olive Branch Reserve (BDG2000002), Gillings Tract (BDG2000019), 920 Sherron Road (BDG2000010); Zoning Map Changes - Olive Branch Reserve (Z2000003), 4523 Hope Valley Road (Z2000004), Gillings Tract (Z2000005), 920 Sherron Road (Z2000013).
The Durham City Council will hold virtual public hearings on March 15, 2021, at 7 p.m. to hear the following requests:
Annexations
- Olive Branch Reserve (BDG2000002) is a request for a noncontiguous expansion of the existing city limits totaling 113.579 acres located at 1607 Olive Branch, 802 and 830 Virgil Road.
- Gillings Tract (BDG2000019) is a request for a contiguous annexation of one parcel totaling 20.84 acres located at 4001 Page Road.
- 920 Sherron Road (BDG2000010) is a request for a voluntary annexation of two parcels totaling 7.67 acres located at 920 and 922 Sherron Road.
Zoning Map Changes
- Olive Branch Reserve (Z2000003) is a request to change the zoning located at 1607 Olive Branch, 802 and 830 Virgil Road from Residential Rural (RR), Falls/Jordan Lake Watershed Protection District-B (F/J-B) to Planned Development Residential 3.220 (PDR 3.220), Falls/Jordan Lake Watershed Protection District-B (F/J-B).
- 4523 Hope Valley Road (Z2000004) Is a request to change the zoning located at 4523 Hope Valley Road from Residential Suburban-Multifamily with a development plan (RS-M(D)) to Residential Suburban-Multifamily with a development plan (RS-M(D)) to increase building square footage.
- Gillings Tract (Z2000005) is a request to change the zoning from located at 4001 Page Road Residential Rural (RR) to Planned Development Residential (PDR 4.447), with a change the Future Land Use Map designation to Low-Medium Density Residential.
- 920 Sherron Road (Z2000013) is a request to change the zoning located at 920 and 922 Sherron Road from Residential Suburban-20 (RS-20); Residential Rural (RR) to Planned Development Residential 7.171 (PDR 7.171).
